Dallas Robbery Backfires On Robber After He Picked An Armed Citizen

DALLAS, TEXAS — A robber is dead and his intended victim injured after a failed robbery attempt in a restaurant parking lot Sunday night. The problem for the robber? His intended victim was armed.

CBS Local reports that two people were leaving a restaurant when they were approached by a man who asked if they had a light. Then, the man pulled a mask over his face and pulled a gun out.

One of the intended victims was able to grab his gun from inside his car. The result was a short gun battle between the two, which left the intended victim injured and the suspect dead.
